Anji Jin 金安吉 (b. 2002) is a Chinese artist based in New York. She received her undergraduate training in mathematics at NYU Tandon and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Visual Arts Administration at New York University.

Her engagement with art began early and has remained continuous through her academic training. Her commitment to artistic practice was further shaped through professional experiences across diverse contexts, including a gallery, an auction house, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a bespoke tailoring studio. These encounters informed her interest in the pursuit of selfhood and in how perception and experience remain in flux.

Shaped by her background in mathematics, Jin approaches art-making through a balance of analytical thinking and spatial imagination. Her practice explores combinations of media to articulate states of becoming through form and material. Her current work centers on ceramics and its dialogue with other media.
